They strive to educate independent businesses, property owners, and civic leaders on the Main Street approach for physical improvements to buildings, businesses, and public improvements. Events Committee

The Events Committee is in charge of planning, organizing, and executing the various events taking place in downtown Hammond. They coordinate events such as Hot August Stroll, Starry Saturday, Small Business Saturday, Southeastern Homecoming celebrations in downtown, and much more. This committee usually meets the first Monday of each month at 4:00pm at the Hammond Regional Arts Center (217 E. Thomas St., Hammond, LA 70401).
