Downtown Hammond Community Garden
How It Started + Goals for the Future
The Downtown Hammond Community Garden is a subproject of the DDD's Old Feed & Seed Revitalization Initiative.
What's planned for the future of the Community Garden? That's limited to only the imagine of the people in Downtown Hammond! We've discussed bed rentals, demonstration gardens, and a meditation area. Join us and bring even more possibilities to life!

Volunteer & Donate
The Community Garden is always in need of volunteers and supplies. (That's what makes us a community, right?!) Volunteer days will be posted here and on our social media accounts as they are scheduled. You do NOT have to be an expert to volunteer at the Community Garden! All ages and groups are welcome.
The next scheduled Volunteer Work Days are:
June 26th, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
June 27th, 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
