Larry George II
Local Artists in Hammond
Larry George II, a former 5 Stones Media employee has been developing his artistic abilities since 2015. Larry is a twenty-six year old SLU Marketing graduate. In 2015, this creative, smart, and understanding artist decided that he wanted to create more with his camera and digital work. Larry considers himself a storyteller with his digital artwork and strives to evoke certain feelings in photography, graphic design, and videos. Larry loves the process telling the stories of his clients through a few frames or videos. He considers this process challenging and rewarding after seeing the reactions from his clients. For Larry, the most important aspect to Larry with art is being able to express himself. Art is considered to be about expression, and he feels he can take any thought, emotion, or story and channel it into something positive. With that being said, he embeds three themes into his work; ‘honest, simple, and lifestyle’. Larry’s work is heavily influenced by Hallease, Temi Coker, and Trevor Wentt, but in life he is influenced by life itself. Larry started out by making Youtube videos of himself making music covers, and this opened up his eyes as well as many new doors. Since then he has conquered the skills in Photoshop and Illustrator and even landed a job in graphic design.
