Instant Art with the Art-O-Mat at HRAC

Instagram, Facebook, and the Waitr app, all things we have at our fingertips for immediate gratification.  And now Hammond has a way to provide instant art.  Thanks to the generous donation of Todd Delaune and a road trip to Winston-Salem by HRAC Executive director, Maureen Joyce, the Hammond Regional Art Center has an Art-O-mat.  An Art-O-mat is a retired cigarette machine that has been converted to dispense art.  This unique machine, which was originally created by artist Clark Whittington, instantaneously delivers a small piece of art.  So, now with the pull of a brass knob at The Hammond Regional Art Center, visitors can have unique artwork immediately in their hands.  And the price is only a five dollar token.  So, if want your art and like it delivered in an instant, check out The Hammond Regional Art Center’s new Art-O-mat!

For more information about the Art-O-mat or upcoming events at the HRAC visit the Hammond Regional Art Center at, follow them on Facebook, or contact the center at 985-542-7113.
