Bucktown Allstars- DDD Stage

The Bucktown Allstars are sure to put the party in Hot August Night! This brass-driven New Orleans party band takes the DDD stage right after Southeastern’s annual pep rally. at 7:30pm and plays until the close of Hot August Night at 10:30pm. The Bucktown Allstars we’re established in 1992 and specialized in 1960s Classic R&B and Soul, ’70s Funk and New Orleans jams plus some top 40s tunes, all of which will have you dancing the night away. They are a multi-year winner of Gambit Reader’s Poll, “Best Band That Doesn’t Fit Any Of These Categories” and 10x winner of the prestigious Offbeat Magazine Best of the Beat Awards. Their raspy vocals, rollicking piano, and a corrupt horn section fuel an unorthodox mix of second line funk and Motown soul. They've got our seal of approval for supplying a good time, so bring your dancing shoes to the DDD stage!

La Carreta Stage: Groovy7

Groovy7 is a diverse party dance band based out of New Orleans made up of some of the most accomplished musicians in the southern region. They have made their mark as being New Orleans first choice for headlining festivals, large Group conventions, and New Orleans’ choice opener for such artists as Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Steven Tyler, Pitbull, Flo Rider, KC & the sunshine Band, Kiss and more! This group was such a hit at last Hot August Night, La Carreta brought them back for year two! Catch them on the La Carreta stage from 7-10 pm!
